Kephart to Dedicate Clearfield County Bridge
WHAT: The bridge which crosses Clearfield Creek as part of Lyleville Road in Beccaria Township, Clearfield County, will be renamed the CPL Cecil J. Snyder Memorial Bridge. The event will be hosted by state Rep. Dallas Kephart (R-Clearfield/Cambria).
A member of the U.S. Army, CPL Snyder died while serving his country during World War II when the base on which he was stationed in the Philippine Islands was captured.
WHO: Those in attendance will include representatives of CPL Snyder’s family.
WHEN: Today (Thursday, April 20) at 12:30 p.m.
WHERE: Beechwood Park, Union St., Coalport.
