HARRISBURG – State Rep. Dallas Kephart (R-Cambria/Clearfield) and Sen. Wayne Langerholc Jr. (R-35) today announced more than $1 million in Local Share Account (LSA) funding invested in the 73rd Legislative District.
“LSA grants mark an important investment in the continued growth of our community,” Kephart said. “I am proud to share the news about this funding for our communities, and grateful for the ability to advocate for these grants.”

“In partnership with Rep. Kephart, these investments ensure our communities are well-prepared to meet today’s needs while promoting stability,” said Langerholc. “By strengthening public safety through critical equipment investments and infrastructure improvements, these grants deliver a real and lasting impact.”
LSA grants are distributed for projects that need funding and are in the public interest, which improve the quality of life of citizens in the community and are owned and maintained by an eligible applicant or a nonprofit organization.
Eligible projects include construction or renovation, acquisition, equipment and infrastructure. Eligible applicants include individual counties, boroughs and townships; municipal authorities; economic development agencies; and redevelopment authorities.
LSA grants are facilitated through distribution of gaming revenue by the Commonwealth Financing Authority, which was established in 2004 to administer Pennsylvania’s economic stimulus packages.
