Kephart Announces More Than $6.3 Million Targeted for Local Sewer Projects
October 21, 2026
HARRSBURG – Residents of multiple municipalities in the 73rd District stand to benefit from Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) funding awards, according to state Rep. Dallas Kephart (R-Cambria/Clearfield).
“PENNVEST projects help make much-needed infrastructure investments in our communities,” Kephart said. “I was more than happy to work with our local government officials in supporting their requests for this funding.”
The West Branch Sewer Authority is receiving more than $3.5 million grant and nearly $1 million in the form of a loan to install sewer infrastructure improvements on Maple Avenue in Northern Cambria Borough.
BCI Municipal Authority in Clearfield County is being awarded a more than $1.8 million grant for installation of equipment and controls at the existing Blain City, Coalport, and Lyleville sewage pumping stations.
PENNVEST is a financing authority that provides low-cost financial assistance to address water, wastewater, stormwater, and non-point source pollution problems that impact public health, safety, the environment, regulatory compliance, and economic development.
